1. I found that the contrast between light and dark, as well as the vibrancy of the yellow made this picture stand out to me, more so than the others I took. 2. In order to take this photo, I had to wait until it was dark, so that I could get the best contrast in the lighting, and then I had to position the clay figure so that it looked more natural. I then took a series of photos, whilst trying to keep the compositional elements like the rule of thirds in mind. 3. To me, it is the face of the creature. This is due to a combination of elements; the lighting is brightest there, the contrast between strong yellow skin and pale white eyes, the angle of the head. 4. The lines on the figure lead my eye from the eyes of the figure to the place where the mouth should be, down the neck, and off to the side. The bright yellow when compared to the dark background also draws the eye along the body. 5. Only one name really comes to mind when I look at this photograph, and that would be 'Eye of the Beholder'.
